Kutubee Schools
It is an interactive reading platform created to encourage a love of reading while strengthening language skills for elementary and middle school students. It provides an extensive library of over 1,000 Arabic stories, more than 400 English stories, and 170 French stories, all carefully selected by educators and academic experts.
Built for learners aged 3 to 14, it offers a valuable learning resource that can be accessed on both school and home devices.
Kutubee was developed in partnership with education and library professionals to ensure compatibility with established classification systems. Its content is organized according to the PYP framework, and stories are also categorized using the Arabi21 system, with consideration for individual learner differences.
We are pleased to introduce a new AI-powered tool that allows students to practice reading aloud and receive instant feedback on their performance. Designed to support Arabic as a Second Language learners, it strengthens key reading skills through real-time guidance. Reading accuracy is enhanced as correct and incorrect words are highlighted directly in the text, helping students easily spot and correct mistakes. It also improves fluency and reading speed by providing feedback on pacing, encouraging smoother and more confident oral reading.
How does the student benefit from this feature?
Students begin by clicking the “Reading Practice” icon and following the on-screen guidance. The assigned passage is then displayed, and the student reads it aloud at their own pace. Once completed, they close the session, and the system immediately evaluates their performance and presents real-time results.
This delivers instant, practical feedback that helps Arabic as a Second Language learners quickly recognize their strengths and areas needing improvement, promoting faster development in reading accuracy, fluency, and confidence.
