This book focuses on reviewing how to write letters with vowel marks and teaching the skill of connecting letters and adding vowel marks to long vowels. It also includes more than 200 carefully chosen vocabulary words, written in a special font that clearly shows each letter. 

The book also focuses on additional skills, such as using a pencil, tracing lines, and cutting-and-pasting. Thick paper is used to make writing and erasing easier, and the pages have safe, curved, and non-sharp edges. 

It includes an appendix that teaches numbers, time, and the days of the week, as well as a write-and-erase board for practice.
