Learn Arabic Series
Teaching a language is a critical tool for communication and ultimately for the development of knowledge. In our quest to provide our customers with high-quality materials, we are pleased to offer the Learn Arabic series. It employs modern methods to effectively teach Arabic to students in grades K–12. This series is based on three fundamental aspects of language teaching, presented in an Islamic context:

• Elements: Sounds, letters, phrases, and pronunciation
• Skills: Reading, writing, speaking, and listening
• Linguistic Functions: Introduction, greetings, descriptions, requests, and apologies

Series Content
The Learn Arabic series consists of textbooks, workbooks, and teacher’s manuals for grades K–12. The textbooks introduce the basic elements of the Arabic language and their functions, while the activity books focus on enrichment material with special emphasis on writing. The teacher’s manuals provide tips and strategies for teaching Arabic effectively to achieve positive results. 

Support Material
Teachers will benefit from a full array of support materials, including audio recordings, posters, and cards. The books also include ideas for additional activities such as chants, competitions, and language games, making each lesson engaging and interactive. 

Student Textbooks
The student textbooks comprise 24 units: 18 core units of new material, plus 6 review units. Each core unit contains four lessons with dialogue texts, expressions, vocabulary, and communication exercises. The units cover conversations, pronunciations, expressions, grammatical structures, listening, reading, thinking, writing, and additional activities such as selections from the Qur’an, ahadith, and nasheeds. The teacher’s books include midterm and final tests, with answer keys provided in the teacher’s manuals. 

Activity Books
The activity books enhance the material in the student textbooks, with a primary focus on writing skills and some review of verbal skills. They contain a variety of activities that can be completed at school or at home, including coloring and painting pages, word matches, reading letters and sentences, writing words, letters, and numbers, and answering questions. Some activities can be done at home with a parent, strengthening the home–school connection.
